With the loyalty points program, you can reward customers for purchases and interactions, strengthen their loyalty, and offer them attractive rewards. πβ¨
1οΈβ£ How can customers collect loyalty points?
Points can be awarded automatically for various actions that you specify in the dashboard under Incentives β Loyalty Points.
Main interactions for loyalty points:
- Invite friends β A customer invites a friend to join the app and receives points in return.
- Reward for the invited friend β The invited friend also receives points as a welcome bonus.
- Facebook post β Points for sharing a post on Facebook (must be activated).
- Registration β New users automatically receive points for signing up.
- Check-in at a location β Points for visiting a store or a specific location.
- Submitting a customer review β Points for writing a review or rating.
2οΈβ£ Points awarded for purchases
In addition to the interactions mentioned above, customers can also collect points for their purchases.
Options for awarding points:

Points based on sales β A certain number of points are awarded for a defined amount (e.g., 1 point per β¬1 in sales).

Fixed points per purchase β Regardless of the amount, the customer receives a fixed number of points (e.g., 50 points per purchase).

No points for purchases β If purchases are not to be rewarded, this option can be selected.
In addition, a rounding method can be specified for calculating the points:
- ceil β Round up (to the next higher integer)
- floor β Round down (to the next lower integer)
- bankersβ Bankers' rounds (rounding symmetrically to the nearest even number)
- conventionalβ Conventional rounding (commercial rounding, i.e., rounding up from 0.5)
3οΈβ£ Advanced rules for loyalty points
In addition to the standard points, further conditions for awarding points can be specified in the "Rules" tab. This enables targeted incentives and special bonus promotions.
π Create rules for purchases
Here you can specify how many points customers should receive based on their purchase value.
1οΈβ£ Create a new rule for purchases
- Click on "Create new rule for purchases" to define a rule.
- Set the sales range (e.g., $100 to $200).
- Select whether points are awarded based on sales, whether a fixed number of points are awarded per purchase, or whether no points should be collected for these sales.
- If you decide to award points based on sales, specify how many points should be awarded per euro of sales (e.g., 2 points per EUR 1).
- Select a rounding method (e.g., round up or round down).
- Save the rule by clicking "Create. "
π« Set exclusion rules
Would you like to exclude certain products or categories from the points system? If so, you can define an exclusion rule.
1οΈβ£ Create a new exclusion rule
- Click on "Create exclusion rule" to define a rule.
- Give the rule a name so that you can easily find it again later.
- Select the categories to exclude. Customers will not receive loyalty points for purchases in these categories.
- Select the products to be excluded if you want to exclude certain items from the points system.
- Save the rule by clicking "Create. "
πΉ Tip: If you are planning a special promotion or do not want to award points for certain product groups (e.g., discounted goods or vouchers), you can make specific adjustments here.

You can adjust all settings for awarding points directly in the dashboard under Incentives β Loyalty Points. Once configured, points are automatically awarded for the specified interactions and stored in the customer's account.
