What is "Pay with Points"?

"Pay with Points" is a feature that allows your customers to redeem their collected points directly when paying. There are two ways this feature works: one without cash register integration and one with cash register integration.

What are the benefits of "Pay with Points"?

With "Pay with Points," your customers can convert their accumulated points into cash value and use it directly as a discount when shopping. This not only promotes customer loyalty, but also gives your customers the feeling that they have saved even more by redeeming their points. This feature also offers companies more flexibility in designing payment processes and customer interactions.

How does "Pay with Points" work?

Option 1 – Without cash register integration

In this variant, your customers can convert their points into a voucher in the app. For example: 500 points equal a $5 voucher (this conversion factor can be freely defined). The voucher is activated and can be presented at the next purchase. The cashier deducts the amount from the purchase. If the purchase is higher, the customer can pay the remaining amount. Prerequisite: The POS system must be able to deduct fixed amounts as cash discounts (e.g., $5, $10, or $20).


Option 2 – With cash register integration

With this option, customers can redeem their points directly at the checkout. 

  • Example: 500 points are automatically applied as a $5 discount at the checkout.

How it works in the app

Option 1 – Without cash register integration:

  1. The customer selects the number of points they want to use for their purchase.

  2. The customer confirms the conversion of the points into the corresponding euro amount. This voucher is only valid for 5 minutes.

  3. After confirmation, a screen will appear showing the euro amount, the time, and the countdown (5 minutes).

  4. The customer shows this screen at the checkout, and the cashier deducts the discount.

Option 2 – With cash register integration:

  1. The customer selects the number of points they want to use for their purchase.

  2. The customer shows their loyalty card at the checkout.

  3. The cash register system deducts the corresponding discount directly.

Dashboard & Activity Feed

All activated points that have been used for payment are displayed directly in the user's dashboard. These transactions are also visible in the activity feed, so that the customer always has an overview of their redemptions and point contributions.
