Customers have forgotten their password

There are several ways for customers to reset/change their password. These are listed and explained here.

 

PLEASE NOTE: Social logins do not support password resets. Customers must reset the password in their social account. This is automatically transferred to social logins and cannot be changed in the app.

1. Reset password as a customer

Customers can click "Reset password" when logging in to change their password. 

2. Reset password in the dashboard

  • You can also reset customer passwords in the dashboard. 
    This works as follows: 
    • Go toCustomers andsearch for the desired person. 
    • Click on the blue eye on the right to access the user details.
    • Here you can change the password or send an email so that customers can reset the password themselves.

    • UnderChange password, you can enter any password you like. Make a note of it before clickingSave. Then send the password to the customer. The password will disappear after saving for data protection reasons. 

3. Request password change in customer profile

There is the option to add a "Change password " function to the profile. This allows customers to change their password themselves without having to reset it, if they wish.
