Coupons and settings
Coupons are an effective tool for rewarding your customers with points or triggering certain actions. They can be used as alphanumeric codes or QR codes.
1️⃣ Create a new coupon
- Navigate to Incentives in the dashboard and select Coupons.
- Click on "Generate coupon" to create a new coupon.

2️⃣ Coupon settings
You can configure various settings that play an important role when redeeming the code:
- Name: Enter the name of your coupon.
- Points: Set the number of points customers receive for scanning the QR code.
- Number of coupons: Determine how many coupons should be generated with the same QR code.
- Validity period: Define when the QR code should be valid from and until.
- Location selection: Assign a location to trigger location-based actions or reviews via Facebook posts.
- Account selection: Assign the coupon to a user account

You can configure various settings that may play an important role when redeeming the code.
3️⃣ Extensions and limitations
- Name (required field):
Enter the name/designation of your coupon here. - Points (optional):
Enter the number of points that customers receive for scanning the QR code here. - Number of coupons (optional):
Here you can specify how many coupons should be generated with the same QR code. - Valid from - to (required field):
Here you can specify a period during which the QR code should be valid. - Location selection (optional):
Here you can assign a location to the coupon. This is necessary in order to trigger location-based promotions or a rating via Facebook posting. - Account selection (optional):
Here you can assign the coupon to a user account. - Activate coupon (optional):
If you want to create a coupon that is invalidated after being scanned once and cannot be scanned by any other user, just activate "Activate coupon" and no other settings. - Unlimited redemption (optional):
Check this box if you want the QR code to be scannable an unlimited number of times. - Facebook Posting (optional):
If this option is enabled, customers will be asked if they would like to share a post on Facebook when redeeming the coupon. However, this requires that a location with a valid Facebook ID is stored. - Redeemable once per user (optional):
If activated, the same coupon can be scanned by different users. However, the same user can only scan it once.
4️⃣ Generate and manage coupons
- Once you have finished configuring the settings , click on "Generate."
- The coupon will now appear in the overview.
- Click on the coupon name to view details, edit settings, or export the data as a CSV file (e.g., for printing).
- Once created, it is possible to change the points: You will find the editing option directly below the coupon.

5️⃣View & manage coupon details
👁️ Click on the eye icon to view all important information about your coupon:
- Redeemed coupons – See how many coupons have already been used.
- Status – Check whether the coupon is active or inactive.
- Create PDF cards – You can generate and download PDF cards directly from the detailed view.
6️⃣Generate PDF cards
- In the coupon details view , scroll down to "Generate PDF card."
- Upload a background image on which the QR code should be displayed.
- Click on " Generate PDF cards."
- A green field will appear, from which you can download the PDF file.
