multiple points rule

Here we describe the multiple points rule and what you can achieve with it.

What are multiple point rules?

With the multiple points rules, Dashboard Managers can create specific rules that allow users to earn additional points for certain actions. These rules offer a flexible way to encourage point collection and reward specific user activities. The rules created are displayed in the dashboard under "Incentives" -> "Loyalty Points" and can be customized according to the individual needs of the company.

What can be set with the multiple point rules?

Dashboard managers can set the following parameters for multi-point rules:

  1. Rule name: Each rule can be given a unique name to clearly identify it and distinguish it from other rules.
  2. Highlighting awarded points: You can specify how the additional points awarded are highlighted in the user's history. This makes it clear which activities have led to multiple points being awarded.
  3. Rule period: The period during which the rule is active can be precisely defined. For example, a rule can apply only to a specific month or a special event.
  4. Multiple point factor: The multiple point factor determines how many additional points a user receives for a specific action. Example: A factor of 2x means that the base point value for the respective action is doubled.

Supported user activities

Currently, the following user activities can be used for multiple point rules:

  • Coupon scan: Users receive additional points when they scan a coupon.

  • Registration: New users receive multiple points for signing up.

  • Specification of certain fields: For example, opting in to the newsletter, which is rewarded with additional points.

Restriction to a user segment

It is possible to restrict the multiple points rules to specific user segments. For example, only VIP customers or another defined segment can benefit from the additional points.
